Ken Capital is a one-person research shop. The site exists for two reasons: it's where I do my real investment work, and it's how I'd like to be evaluated by potential employers in buy-side equity research and wealth advisory.
I'm finishing my finance degree at Baruch College (Zicklin School of Business), with all three levels of the Chartered Market Technician (CMT) program behind me and the CFA charter in progress. That combination is the lens — technical work for timing and regime reads, fundamental work for what something is worth.
What you'll find here
Market letters and research notes on economics and markets — each one a dated, written view — alongside the investment philosophy that frames them. The work is published in the open so the thinking is visible, not just the conclusion.
Why dual credentials matter to me
The CMT taught me to read price, trend, breadth, and rotation — the market's actual behavior. The CFA forces the discipline of valuation, capital structure, and accounting. Most analysts are fluent in one. Holding both means I can size a position based on what a business is worth and wait to put capital on it when the tape agrees.
